What we've cooked up in the last two weeks

I only share the worthy ones of course. We made hamburgers and funeral potatoes again. God, they're so good. But Alas, not worth the picture.
Anyway... We went grocery shopping what, last thursday maybe..and we decided to cook up some Pasta with Shrimp Alfredo.
It almost went down in the grocery store too, we were fighting over what shrimp to get, you shoulda seen me, i took my earrings off and everything...
im just kidding-----i didn't have earrings. ; P

And i also won.
Unpeeled and Raw it was. (We were saving 4 dollars! Comeon!)
And since it was my decision, I had to do the dirty work.

And it was soo damn easy, boy. See, wtf were you complaining about?  "Its gonna take forever to peel...."

Alright. Fine. It took a while. And some of the veins intestines were still in...It was gross.

Reader, you're lucky I didn't keep the original size of the photo. Yeah, there's some green stuff- I'm pretty sure its shrimp shit. You're welcome.

At last, the meal was complete. and we ate---
My Plate

His Plate
Notice the differences?
I like to mix my shit up. It's a habit.
He likes keeping his shit separate. It's a habit.
(Don't you dare put bacon next to his pancakes, Oh hell no!) lol

I wish the shrimp would have browned, but his stove sucks ass. So they boiled (in butter!) in a sautee pan. Sad, huh?

I think a few days later I made this bad boy here....

I found a great recipe for blueberry cobbler from pioneerwoman, but i don't know. It didn't come out right. Still tasted good though, served warm with vanilla icecream? Yummy.
And just so you know I went on a fruit-shopping spree.
They had the little packs of strawberries at 2 for 4. Dude, I was game. i got 2 and pack of blackberries. So i had to make some room in the fridge by eating the blueberries someway some how. So i made a cobbler. I love cobblers.
I confess, I ate the whole thing by myself
I know, I know, I should'nt have. But Ryan never eats so I had no choice : (

He's discovered that he doesn't like blueberries.
Unless they're overprocessed and come in a packaged goodie.
Same with cherries. (Yeah, I'm pokin at your Poptarts, bud)
But thats okay, He'll find room in his heart for real fruit someday....

BTW, who knew blueberries were green on the inside? I sure didn't. I was like Whoa. its all good though.
I guess that goes to show you how it is possible to be kept in the dark for 20 years. Especially when you are not in control of what you eat.

The end folks.
