Super Sunburned -___-
I haven't been sunburned in YEARS.
Me and the outdoors never got along.
But at least ryan can't make fun of my pale legs anymore.
They're no longer "Hot Topic pale" as he calls it. lol.

Splashtown tomorrow : ) Just my boy and I.
Excited for that.
Not only is it going to be fun, but we're going to be alone.
It's nice. Yep.
My parents were really understanding too.
However, my brother is under the impression that I'm accompanying Ryan to a very important doctor's appointment. And therefore he must stay with a family friend for most of the day. At first he said no because he likes being difficult, but soon he saw he had no choice. At least that's taken care of.
Yep.
Also, there are now 4 weeks left of summer.
So they must be planned wisely.

Quite boring indeed
Sorry for no regular updates, but I've not exactly been doing all that much lately. Just working and sleeping, which is an existence I don't care much for. I'm also currently on the look out for a job in Austin, though I don't expect to get anything done while I'm still in Houston. With any luck I'll get a 'cool' job, though my guess is everyone applies to Alamo Drafthouse, Half Price and the Apple Store all the time. But we'll see.
Going to see Harry Potter tonight, I expect manly tears.

I'm treating this blog all wrong..
I need to document more than just what shows i've seen!
My cousins came over like a week ago. It was random. But it turned out really nice. I had fun.
And we ended up having somewhat of a party at my house, because thats what happens when you have large families.
Nono and i bonded like we used to. It was great.
My mother made homemade lasagna, homemade french bread (with my help), and homemade dressing for the salad. (You see, she began cooking more once my older brother and i left to college, convenient huh? -_-)
And Nono and I made homemade biscuits and homemade chocolate chip cookies. (those cookies came out so thin they were practically transparent, long story lol)
And also, my other cousins, not Nono, has 3 siblings that live here. And this was going to be the first time that all 6 siblings were going to get together. EVER.
This is because they all have the same dad, different moms, you get the picture. Anyway, its rather incredible. And my mother is like, we're having 25 people over tonight, and we're only inviting the siblings and their kids so its not like we invited anyone extra.... lol YEAH alot of people.
One sister didn't show up after all. But it was still a good night, and the siblings got to bond. My cousin who is 24 i think hadn't seen her brother in 20 years! Not by choice, its just how it worked out. My mother's side of the family is mexican, so you can imagine what the complications were... I'll say no more.
Anyway, It was a good weekend.
See Ale? I knew you had more going on than just TV and homework.

I'll keep this quick.
So it seems there are only 6 weeks of summer left.
Am I happy about that? Yes, actually. And so is Ryan.
There is just something about summer that never quite does it for us.
The school year is much more enjoyable.
I was super excited to watch Julie and Julia when it came out, and I finally saw it a few weeks ago.
I didn't like it, unfortunately.
Maybe it was the constant interruptions? Between cooking (oh the irony) and my little brother I kept pausing and playing and pausing and playing.
I don't know. But i do know that Meryl Streep did an excellent job at portraying Julia Child.
Anyway, these past few weeks mostly consist of How I met your mother, and Harry Potter Movies. Oh and other random episodes of whatever sounds good.
That T.V. has been getting a lot of attention, let me tell you.
What a summer, huh?
Also, I have been bringing Ryan lunch while he works. What a lovely girlfriend he has. I love feeding him, so it's great. And it's an excuse to leave the house. Even if little brother has to come along.
Sincerely,
The Babysitter/Cook/Dishwasher/Girlfriend
