Anyway. Speaking of my new hair stylist (; P)
Ryan also dyed my hair (again actually, what a great guy)
But this time black. I wanted my natural hair color back but it came out darker than expected : (
Oh well, he did a great job : )
Ladies, you know who to call ;P
AND UT application is DUE tomorrow. Fingers crossed for me that it all goes in....
Just need that dang resume--working on it NOW :S

We saw goats!
Today Today
Bbq at steds
It was homecoming weekend
And of course it was SO good because it was from Poke E jo's (however u spell it) . I even got some stains on my shirt as a reminder of how good it was ; P
Saw a baby goat.
SO cute. oh lordy. Adorable.
Saw an adult goat.
Big, fat, and scary. But i took a picture with it none the less.
Then we went to the Library for a little bit. Hence the backpack in the pic. Cause its what we do on weekends.
And
Ryan reluctantly cut my hair- Oh the things you do for love! ;P
"why can't you just go to a salon!?"
"No! theyre expensive and this is easier than you think. Do it!"
"But... :("
"DO IT!"
Something like that.

It's finally friday
I didn't go to three whole classes, but man did this week seem long!
So glad its friday.
Tonight we made homemade pizza
we also saw a movie- Tortilla Soup with Hector Elizondo.
Why?
Most people probably never heard of it, but I for one was tired of seeing movies with mostly white people in it (oh right, and the occasional token minority)
So JUST because it was based around all hispanics, and had to do with food, i convinced Ryan to watch it.
And it was alright. Not great. But alright. Some of the characters were better than others.
We're also watching another movie tonight...Stay tuned
(we've yet to become true college kids. Maybe next year?)

Anything new?
Crazy Moody Weekend.
Mostly on my part. Because I'm a girl and that's how nature made me.
Went by so fast too.
Laundry, Expensive Laundry
-I think Ryan ended up spending about 10 bucks on laundry. 7.25 for washing. and more than 2 bucks on drying as far as I know. ( I stopped counting)
Orange, Mustard, Onion, Brown Sugar Chicken.
- we both agree to never make it again. Damn you college cookbook! Damn you!
Strawberry Whipped Cream Layer Cake. 'Twas gorgeous, friends, gorge-ous.
borrowed the recipe from This Canadian Blog and she borrowed it from somewhere else.
Difference between mine and hers? I cheated and used cake-mix. : ) You'd do it to, so don't hate. :P
And it was also all for Me : )
Starting Friday I decided to stop making stuff for BOTH Ryan and I, because A) he never eats B) i always end up eating it on my own 'cause he doesn't help me and C) I don't want to get mad anymore because of it.
So far i've polished off half of it. It's small okay! lol
On Saturday we saw The Royal Tenenbaums.- Funny, and somewhat charming.
And umm, Luke Wilson was a plus, i'll tell ya that ;p just smokin' (I can say this because Ryan thought so too) except when he went crazy.
Then we did homework at the Library, my Library.
So that about sums up our weekend.

Our Very Romantic Valentines Day.
This marks our Third Valentine's Day together. Cute huh?
I don't remember the first year.
But i definitely remember last year's....
I bought this cute little dress that I was going to wear just for Valentines. And impress him with my gorgeous-- anyway. And the dress backfired. Long story short, after various suck-it-ins, cooking oils, and human strength, I had to be CUT out of my own dress at the last minute! I had to wear jeans to our special night.
But at least we went to a decent Italian Restaurant and enjoyed our time together. ;P
This year...
We sat on his bed reading for two hours.
Went to the drive thru at Whataburger
And came back to his place to read somemore.
FYI, when i say reading, folks, I REALLY mean reading.
I'm currently reading Drowning Ruth and he just finished up the American Subversive.
Happy Valentine's Day!!

What we've cooked up in the last two weeks
I only share the worthy ones of course. We made hamburgers and funeral potatoes again. God, they're so good. But Alas, not worth the picture.
Anyway... We went grocery shopping what, last thursday maybe..and we decided to cook up some Pasta with Shrimp Alfredo.
It almost went down in the grocery store too, we were fighting over what shrimp to get, you shoulda seen me, i took my earrings off and everything...
im just kidding-----i didn't have earrings. ; P
And i also won.
Unpeeled and Raw it was. (We were saving 4 dollars! Comeon!)
And since it was my decision, I had to do the dirty work.
And it was soo damn easy, boy. See, wtf were you complaining about? "Its gonna take forever to peel...."
Alright. Fine. It took a while. And some of theveins intestines were still in...It was gross.
Reader, you're lucky I didn't keep the original size of the photo. Yeah, there's some green stuff- I'm pretty sure its shrimp shit. You're welcome.
At last, the meal was complete. and we ate---
Notice the differences?
I like to mix my shit up. It's a habit.
He likes keeping his shit separate. It's a habit.
(Don't you dare put bacon next to his pancakes, Oh hell no!) lol
I wish the shrimp would have browned, but his stove sucks ass. So they boiled (in butter!) in a sautee pan. Sad, huh?
I think a few days later I made this bad boy here....
I found a great recipe for blueberry cobbler from pioneerwoman, but i don't know. It didn't come out right. Still tasted good though, served warm with vanilla icecream? Yummy.
And just so you know I went on a fruit-shopping spree.
They had the little packs of strawberries at 2 for 4. Dude, I was game. i got 2 and pack of blackberries. So i had to make some room in the fridge by eating the blueberries someway some how. So i made a cobbler. I love cobblers.
I confess, I ate the whole thing by myself
I know, I know, I should'nt have. But Ryan never eats so I had no choice : (
He's discovered that he doesn't like blueberries.
Unless they're overprocessed and come in a packaged goodie.
Same with cherries. (Yeah, I'm pokin at your Poptarts, bud)
But thats okay, He'll find room in his heart for real fruit someday....
BTW, who knew blueberries were green on the inside? I sure didn't. I was like Whoa. its all good though.
I guess that goes to show you how it is possible to be kept in the dark for 20 years. Especially when you are not in control of what you eat.
The end folks.

It's gone folks, Down to trashville/sinkville. Headville is now abandoned! Ok i'll stop.
As usual, I make it my duty to chase Ryan around his apartment taking pictures.
And this, my friends, is me being ARTISTIC and CREATIVE...
As you can see, I'm still working on that "artistic-ness", I'm borderline "weird and tacky" at the moment...
In addition, I'm sure you've noticed he no longer has that beauty of a mohawk :P
It lasted--what--two days? And i think i'm being generous here...
The plan, you ask? It was to buzz it all off. In a cost-effective manner. In other words, he did the front side, i did the back. ;P My first time using a "buzzer" or whatever they're called. Electric Razor? I don't know.
Well, i turn away for one second, and he already took that buzzer and went right through the middle of his hair!! Lord, I almost peed myself from laughing!
I almost ripped his hair out twice. I felt bad. But he didn't tell me not to let go of the red button... : (
And boy, for only buzzing off a short mohawk there was hair everywhere!! We could totally have made someone a wig out of it! (if we knew how, that is)
So anyway, we've both been busy lately, with studying and all. He had a test yesterday and I had one today. But I think we can both relax a bit now. Plus we're going to Plucker's tomorrow!! Sweet huh. I just love wings. I even smelled them out in the hallway today. Either someone got wings, or i'm just really excited! ;P
Also--- a UT special. The Science of Kissing.(edit 2/21/11: never went) We'll see what that's all about... I'd pass on it, but you know Ryan...
Alright. Buh Bye

And here it is, ladies and gentlemen. The much awaited Mohawk.
Since i was the one waiting, i feel i have to right to complain that the haircut took 40-50 min. Yes i frequently checked my watch. Ryan, you are a high-maintenance customer. :P And those 40-50 minutes did not include the other 15-20 minutes that we spent waiting for his turn.
We went to a pretty sketchy place, mostly cause it was cheap. But it was well worth it.
The place was also the size of an average bedroom, and only 2 hair-cutting chairs, and the lady spoke no english. But that wasn't a real problem, I'm mexican, she's mexican. Its all good. (Good thing you didn't date a white girl, baby : P)
And here are some more photos... because I want the reader to experience the entirety of it. ;P
His momma is not gonna be happy when she sees this.... HAHA....Oh man. This may be his first and last mohawk. Or as the hairdresser called it, "Mo-happ"
At the time of the above pictures, our thoughts were mostly, OMG it looks horrible, I can't believe I (you) did this..
But it's okay, there is a plan B.
B for Buzzcut. Amen, right? :P

Snow= No school
SWEET huh. I absolutely had all the intentions of going to class, even though Ryan (who's 15 min away) told me his were cancelled. I thought surely mine might still be in session... And so I woke up early and was about to commence my homework when I read the announcement on the university website : "Closed due to weather..." And no, i didn't go back to bed, why i had to take pictures from outside my window. Sure the weather forecast said there was a good chance of snow, but i didn't believe it. So when i looked out my window, i was pretty much shocked. SHOCKED! It was beautiful, and white, and everywhere!
Apparently Ryan had the same idea I did and took a few pictures too...
We spent the rest of the day pretty much doing nothing. We got to eat at Ihop though, then I read my book while he played video games and then we watched Pulp Fiction (my first time) and i really liked it lol. It was great.
